Song of the Day – “Paint It Black” – The Rolling Stones

“I’d like to take a trip to the country, Father, I said, and paint a barn door red, thinking that would get a rise out of him, but it didn’t.”

I can’t hear this song from the Rolling Stones without thinking of the above monologue my best friend did in a production of “The Interview” 38 years ago.

“But he said nothing, as usual, and then, as usual, I went away.”
