Song of the Day – “The Poor People of Paris” – Les Paul

You may not know it by name, but if you’re old enough to have grown up in the sixties, you’ve heard the tune. There are all kinds of versions of this song, but I’m a fan of Les Paul, creator of multi-track recording. His wife, vocalist Mary Ford, gets credit for involvemnt in this recording although, if she does anything, it’s the background organ.

It’s a fun tune, and it is dedicated to the poor people of Paris.
