Song of the Day – “Good Lovin’” – The Young Rascals

About 50 years ago the Young Rascals, headed by Felix Cavaliere, hit number 1 for a single week with this classic. To give you an idea of the quality of music from those days, it replaced the Righteous Brothers and “(You’re My) Soul and Inspiration” at the top of the charts, and was followed by “Monday Monday”, “When a Man Loves a Woman”, “Paint It Black” and “Paperback Writer”. What a summer for music the summer of 1966 was!
