Song of the Day – “New Music” Wednesday – “Steel Guitar Blues” – The Earls of Leicester

I saw the name of this band and thought oh, some English lads. But then I saw the cover and there were a lot of Stetson-wearing gentlemen. I soon found out that this was a group formed by Jerry Douglas to play Flatt/Scruggs tunes, and I was hooked. They are named after Earl Scruggs and Lester (Leicester) Flatt, which is kinda clever. This track is from their second album, Rattle & Roar.
